I am Cristián Hernández, a molecular biotechnologist passionate about the development of high impact biotechnology in Chile and Latin America.
I have been recognized for my work as an investor, communicator and director of companies. I have more than 20 years of experience in the biotechnology business field.
I was trained at the University of Chile, where I studied Molecular Biotechnology Engineering, and then I did a Master’s Degree in Bioscience Business at the University of Cambridge.
I am currently serving as Manager of Andes Biotechnologies, Business Director of Fundación Ciencia & Vida and General Partner of Zentynel Frontier Investments.
I host and produce programs for Chilean TV related to Science and Business, such as “Todo por la Ciencia”, “Pasaporte Ciencia” and “Ciencia al Día” and I am passionate about inspiring the next generation to seek that science, business are always in harmony.
I continue with more conviction than ever, contributing to the world of bioentrepreneurship and transmitting the effect that science and business have to generate well-being in our society.
